Roundtable discussion with HIV/AIDS activists about the role of the HIV/AIDS movement in sex workers’ rights, and the role of sex workers in the HIV movement, and in particular in the development and creation of Montreal’s only sex worker rights group: Stella, l’amie de Maimie.
Speakers include Monica Forrester (Maggie’s Indigenous Sex Work Drum Group, Toronto), Nengeh Mensah (HIV/ AIDS Activist, Founder of various projects at Stella, and Professor at UQAM in Social Work), Sandra Wesley, (Director of Stella, l’amie de Maimie) and moderator Jenn Clamen (Stella, l’amie de Maimie).
