Sextortion is a form of sexual blackmail aimed at extorting a sum of money or images of a sexual nature from the person targeted by the sextortionist. Specifically, sextortion involves taking sexually explicit photos or videos (nudity, masturbatory acts, or sexual relations) without the victim’s knowledge to be used as threats in exchange for money or additional sexual content.
