An educational guide to menstruation that promotes a positive, inclusive and multicultural approach. This guide  presents the menstrual experience as one that is unique and subjective to everyone.

Through this book, readers are encouraged to really get to know themselves by reflecting on ways to better appreciate and love their body, make the right choices for their body, exercise agency and feel empowered over their body, and strengthen their understanding of what “well-being” means, in the context of their period. This book informs readers about the different types of menstrual products available, as well as the various diseases that can affect menstrual health. It seeks to deconstruct the stigma around periods by advancing messages that promote caring perceptions and reports about menstrual experiences. It also offers exercises and concrete explanations and methods  to taking care of mental and physical health.

In the section presenting information about menstrual products, it may have been helpful to raise awareness on the accessibility (i.e., economic, geographical, etc.) of particular reusable and ecological products. This approach should be explored in order to encourage more agency over menstrual health that may be limited for some.
