Description

This project, funded by Erasmus+, aims to facilitate the creation of a podcast series by youth for youth on FGM [female genital mutilation] and Gender-Based Violence in collaboration with the Network's Youth Ambassadors.

This project aims to build the capacities and skills of a team of 6 young women (Ireland, The Netherlands, Spain, UK) from FGM-affected diaspora communities to develop their own podcast dedicated to ending FGM.

The Purple Chair podcast project will first aim to amplify and empower youth voices from affected communities against FGM and diversify the kind of youth activists we see taking the stage in Europe. This objective is directly linked to the promotion of youth social entrepreneurship and the increasing use of digital tools among young activists engaged in ending FGM.
